This is Day 2 of MEET THE BLOGGERS, just for a little clarification MEET THE BLOGGERS is this weeks theme for my blog where you get to know all about your favorite bloggers. The blogger been featured today is Annabelle Giwa-amu. I actually have known her for close to 7 years, we attended the same high school but she was my senior with some years. You can check out annabelle’s blog at www.herbrownie.co.uk . Be sure to share to your friends, comment & like! Enjoy x
Q:What university did you attend & what did you study? What’s next for your education life?
University Of Nottingham, I’m studying International Relations. When I’m done with that, I’m thinking of a masters in Global security.
Q:How old are you?
I’m 22 years old.
Q:what inspired the name ‘her brownie’?
Lol, I’m obsessed with my melanin, I love my skin, I call my skin brown because that’s the closest colour to it! That’s the story I’m going with (shh).
Q:when & why did you start blogging?
I started my blog in October 2014. Hmm, why did i start blogging..? I wanted to prove to all the pretentious fashionistas out there that regular people could rule the blogosphere too, lol. And I thought it would be fun! Which it is 🙂
Q:Has blogging helped you in anyway?
It’s helped me put myself out there more. Made me more confident, definitely. it’s helped me realise my ‘style’ as well, if I can call it that, lol.
Q:Have you ever been in love?
I’m in love right now! Hey Mo Mo <3
Q:Any advice to young bloggers?
My advice would be to do it for fun! It’s your very own diary, even if its not fashion, it can be lifestyle, actual writing, travel! Just do you and express the real you.
Q:Have any dark secrets?
I lick my phone screen… like all the time. And I’m obsessed with touching my boyfriend’s butt. It’s so plush. Also, I’m a serial killer.
Q:50,000 dollars or bae?
Bae! No explanations necessary :p
Q:where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Evangelising to the younger generation in a way that they can understand and accept. Happily married, Working in an NGO and with my own make up line 🙂 Maybe a baby 🙂
Q:What inspires you?
My emotions inspire me the most, i’d say. And the lack of pressure on me to be amazing helps any ‘creative’ process. My mum’s closet, my dad’s old clothes, my best friend, the Nigerian environment! Ugh! I love Nigerian scenery! Every town, urban or rural has a blogpost opportunity, lol
